Winter Coat Distribution

This summer, Denver Presbyterian dedicated their annual marathon to Project Worthmore. They had been wanting to get more involved locally, and collecting winter coats seemed like a practical way to do it.

Sarah Cassida organized the race and the coat drive. When asked what inspired her, she said, “Refugees are coming from the other side of the world to Denver and most have never seen snow. They are in need of relationship and support. Providing warm clothes was an immediate need that we saw. Hopefully this event will be a foundation for building friendship.” Sarah and the Denver Presbyterian community collected over 200 coats of all sizes.  If you have extra coats you would like to donate, kindly drop them off at our office: 1532 Galena St Suite 210 in Aurora.
